AYSA Receives Allstate Foundation Helping Hands in the Community Grant Thanks to Jerad Dennis

Thank you to Allstate volunteer Jerad Dennis for being a positive force for change in our community. Jerad Dennis gave his time and enabled us to receive an Allstate Foundation Helping Hands in the Community grant. The Allstate Foundation supports the causes that Allstate agency owners, financial specialists and employees care about most by providing Helping Hands in the Community grants to nonprofits where they volunteer their time to bring out the good in their communities.

Congratulation to our Players of the Month!

Our two Players of the Month are Emilio Calvario and Ryan Lewis!

Emilio Calvario
RVS B04 Orange

Favorite Team: Barcelona
Favorite Player: Messi
Favorite Team Moment: Winning Rainier Valley Slammer Classic Tournament

“Emilio is new to the team this year, and new to club soccer.  He has made tremendous improvements and is a very hard working and polite team member.  He is athletic, smart on the ball and picks up new techniques very quickly.  Emilio has very strong natural ability, is a true team player and is a pleasure to coach.  I am excited to see Emilio develop even more over the coming months.”

Ryan Lewis
RVS B04 Orange

Favorite Team: Man City
Favorite Player: Messi
Favorite Team Moment: Meg’ing the keeper !

“Ryan has been with us for 3 or 4 years. He displays great ball control and speed on the ball. He is very focus driven, strong athletic ability, and has a strong foot. He is working hard at his new position and is making great strides. Ryan is very competitive, and this helps his drive to succeed. He is very easy to coach, respectful and hard working and happy to have him on the team.”
