Community Service

Auburn Youth Soccer Association is committed to being an active member of its community. The club encourages its members to support a variety of community service projects and charitable programs.  Rainier Valley Slammers teams, in particular, play a big role in upholding AYSA’s belief that not only are community service projects an investment in our community and the people who live in it, but they serve to promote the importance of good citizenship for those who volunteer.  Club-wide annual projects in which RVS coaches, players and families are involved include the "Playing Ball to Cure them All" event, which is a Breast Cancer awareness and fundraising campaign held each October; and a holiday Food and Gift Drive held each December in partnership with Communities In Schools of Auburn to name a few.
